this culture has a lot of votes and will be the ass to kiss for november elections. i expect filipino candidates to do quite well in november, they could take the majority and then mayor in 2016, you know that is very likely, right?
a strong showing by voters of color pushed erin hannigan well above tony intintoli last year. now think about that. they are still here waiting for november.

the filipino community is very supportive of organized labor, and vice versa. that is a powerful force of votes to throw against the anti-labor vib candidates, they will not soon forget the bashing of sunga for years, and now malgapo to a lesser extent. i also recall some nasty comments about dr. ubalde when he ran for office. now is their time in vallejo. get used to it. and celebrate!
