You call it a show? It is one big circus run by clowns and trying hards. If GMA and ABS-CBN should leave the air for good will not matter a bit for me. Most of their shows really sucks and really an insult to the viewers and perhaps one of the reasons why there are a lot of dumb Filipinos.

I have no problem with being called by you as "one of the dumb Filipinos" and I will continue to patronize Wowowee. You cannot categorize laughter. You laugh because there is a reason for laughing and who really cares if it was Willie or Joey de Leon who provoked it.

just last month my cousin tried buying something at the store and some guys followed her around singing boom-tada-tada in a really insulting way. tapos meron pa yung isa kong kaibigan, last year he asked if i can dance like those "hos" he sees on wowowee.

I'm sorry if i just can't agree with anyone who thinks this show is great. it's the cheapest form of entertainment with the dumbest people for contestants and viewers as well.

You miss the point of entertainment. Nothing is entertaining for all. One man's jewel is another man's trinket. Such is life.

You focus on what 'griefers' will ridicule rather then the aspects of the show that are purely filipino. The people in the audience showing their pride from where they have emigrated and the loved ones they bring the island to experience the show's entertainment. People are dancing, smiling and joking. Kids, elderly, the popular, the unpopular... The beautiful, the handsome, the ugly, the fat... The talented, the untalented, the crazy, the silly... Everyone is equally represented. People are sharing simple talents and the country is laughing at the common aspects they find entertaining from friends in their communities. For heaven's sake, the producers have even created a game show in which english speaking foreigners can take part! Truly Filipino 100%!

This is your country. Who gives a rat's ass what anyone thinks of it. The attributes found in the show I find enjoyable because it fully shares the filipino experience at the layman's level. It is what it is.

Nothing is perfect, but that doesn't you can't find beauty or creativity in something.
