I hate racism, people who overgeneralize, racial hang ups, racial preferences, self haters.

I think im alone. We can all live our culture and respect others. There is so much hate on this forum its both amusing and sad.

Am i alone or are there similar asians or any race/gender whose issues dont involve the above stuff whether you are in an ir or not.

Humans are naturally a tribal species, just like any other. It is in our instinct to be wary of those who are "different" and act distinctively. We discriminate those who don't posess the same attributes and material items, or those who have a different mindest and outlook in life.

And of course there those who like to spread volatile themes in open forums such as Topix, especially when there is lack of work from the moderators. Just ignore the trolls and post on the topic.

This is for all my aa sistas and brothaswho are having a hard time dealing with racism and misperceptiins based on prejudice who find it unbearable because they are good inside and just wanted to be treated with respect and kindness.
Just focus on your life, accept your cultures both american and your parents, dont be afraid to learn about others, keep your eye on the ball-your goals in life. Accept the people around you, if you have to chase them, they arent meant to be in your life in other ways. Get engaged in things that interest you like sports, salsa dancing, art, etc. You will meet people who may be the same race, different race or whatever and develop meaningful connections that will make the negative brain vomit on this forum very unimportant. And hopefully, likeminded individuals without hangups.
