I think it is a shame that something that is so good for the children is being discontinued. The kids look so foward to seeing the light. Keep the lights and cancel company parties.

Maybe people were not interested anymore because they put up "Happy Holiday" signs instead of "Merry Christmas?"

People are getting fed up with that exclusionary nonsense and are refusing to visit stores or sites that omit this from their displays.

I for one visted one of the light displays last year and got my money back because of this omission. It is a Christian holiday afterall folks. Other expressions of the season can be joyfully included but to omit the reason for the season is a slap in the face to the millions of Christians in this country and they are getting disgusted with this treatment.

No worry the "light Show" has been relocated to the toxic waterfront in Glen Cove, bring the whole family, after walkng along the radio active creek, and toxic "superfund site" all will then be able to glow in the dark and generate their own special Christmas display.

This is something we do every year. It will be missed. NYS should have put it on it Live Nation did not want to. Where is PC Richards when you need them. Shame on NYS for cancelling such a LI experience

Shame it ended!I think if it was advertised more it would have been a bang. It has been a tradition for my family since it started. The kids still talk about it. Let's fire some of the body guards LOL for the higher ups in the county and bring back the lights!!!!!
