I visited El Paso just once on business.
I liked the town. People were gracious, and our host took us for Mexican food at a local restaurant. Some of the best Tex-Mex I have ever had.
El Paso may not have all the amenities of Southern Calif., but it seems there is plenty to do, and it's also in bad anner to deride a host city.
