Barry Manilow returns to A Capitol Fourth

I've always loved Barry Manilow's songs and his voice was decent. However, performing in this year's Capitol Fourth T.V. production, his voice was horrendous. It was flat, lacked resonance and Barry couldn't hit the higher notes. I don't know what happened, but I felt embarrassed for him. Perhaps it's time he retires from performing and let other folks with voices sing his lovely songs.
