Wingless Angel

He always believed
Angels adorned wings
His angel appeared
As woman
Finally in one second
Her smile
Replaced darkness
Feelings of torturous
Hellish loneliness
As dawn’s light
From heaven appears
He seen the radiance
Of her devotion
Glowing beaming
From her countenance
He glazed into calm eyes
The essence of deep pools
He swam around slowly
Making love to her soul
She was his angel without wings
His every fiber knew her
She smelled as perfume
He somehow knows
Angels from upon high wear
Toying with and
Smelling her hair
Sweet glory
He kissed his angel
And was reborn
Discrediting the fairy story
That angels always have wings.
