It's sad to say, but there was not much to do. However, there was live music. Two of North Adams' sons, played Jazz in front of Luma's. Yes. Charlie and Fran Tokarz, who grew up on Mass. Ave. played a number of tunes for the people who were there.

Grew up on Mass Ave.? Really? I didn't know that.
I just remember hearing Charlie Tokarz playing with a ton of musicians at the Elf some time ago. What an unbelievable event!
And I know that Jason Ennis, guitarist, thinks the world of him.
I think that the July Downstreet may have been a bit smaller than the June one. But they were so close together.
As for myself, however, I had a wonderful evening and enjoy going to all the arts events.

I guess I have too many fond memories of the old Main St. On Thursday nights, there would be literally hundreds of people there.
Now, unless you like art and food, it's pretty much blah.
Charlie plays double reeds. Alto and tenor at the same time which he did Thursday night. Fran plays bass and they brought Mark Papas from Pittsfield to play drums. I know Fran from high school and was introduced to Charlie, his wife and Mark.
Charlie can be seen on YOUTUBE since he plays all over the world.
I'm more into the music arts than the visual arts.

I think many stayed home. We were under a tornado watch. It was very humid and sticky. I had the night off from work so I went.
