Gays think they are winning the day, but when such a sizable percentage of the people opposes some policy, a slight political majority isn't going to make a whole lot of difference. Situations like this usually lead to civil unrest, social disorder and violence. Leftist shouldn't think that people are going to play by some made up rules when the issue is serious enough and the opposition constitutes nearly half of the population.

Just a warning to the winner-take-all victors. It is not going to happen. People will fight back.

You do realize that your "slight majority" has been growing steadily with every year? Equality and American values ALWAYS win over irrational bigotry in the end.

The nice thing is that for gay folks, this is happening rather quickly.

Learn to live with it.

The religious right might want to remember to hire this photographer to handle the pictures for their second, third, fourth... weddings to accurately capture the sanctity of the moment.
