A strikingly beautiful show that stimulates the retinal and conceptual antennae! Particularlly, Hildebrandt's work is both provocative and finely executed demonstrating a very strong position in contemporary art. His work (and the show) is certainly worth a "Double-Take".

I am very interested in the intersection of painting and photography and find this show highly compelling. The work of Bernhard Hildebrandt resonates a lot of the ideas that are at the forefront in contemporary art's critical discourse.

On other fronts, Mary Temple and Alexandra Grant strike cords too.

It is an invaluable resource to see such an important show in Baltimore at the Contemporary Museum. My prediction is that Double-Take receives the attention it deserves.

Excellent show!

For another take read an article by Michael O'Sullivan of the Washington Post,(Now See Here ...'Double-Take': Meaning in the Eye of the Beholder). It's important to note that the Washington crowd is paying attention to our fair city. That link is:
