Same-Sex Marriage Trumps Religious Liberty in New Mexico

Full story: The Heritage Foundation

Earlier today, the Supreme Court of New Mexico ruled that the First Amendment does not protect a Christian photographer's ability to decline to take pictures of a same-sex commitment ceremony-even when doing so would violate the photographer's deeply held religious beliefs.

And how would you think they could force someone with your mindset into believing something else?

And how would the Supremes coerce you into what?

No one is taking away your right to thinking and feeling the way you do. No Thought Police, yet, to monitor and change and coerce your thoughts. No mind meld. No indoctrination. It will take generations for us to take over.

Huszar say you disrespectful. Not very nice. Is this not, what did you call Huszar, a bigot, yes?

It is a moot point,(or a mute point, as our NM Supreme Court geniuses might say) to think that there will be anything more than leftist judicial claptrap when they promulgate their cowardly pontification in favor of legalized homosexual liaisons via "Marriage."
They are not helping those in need of our love be enabling them.
They are not going to be able to force others into believing that sodomy is right, nor are they going to be able to coerce those who disagree by calling them homophobes or bullies.
They are the bullies, and they know it.
Such a divisive and elitist ruling would only continue to roil the pot as did Roe v Wade.
Not for long, because the overwhelming majority of those opposed to same-sex couples marrying are over the age of 60 and will be dying soon enough.

Buh-bye!

<quoted text>An invisible man? MAYBE. HE IS. In our flesh, bones and blood, there is God. In everyone of us, there is God. Don't see HIM, don't touch HIM, but, if you're very quiet, you sense HIM. OK, that touch depends on the person. God is not for curiosity seekers. God is for ME, God is for YOU. God wants you and HE already has me, of course. An invisible man, HE'S more than that. Why do we think? Why do we distinguish right from wrong? Why do we do (mostly) RIGHT? In love with an invisible Man, you BET and that keeps me going, too. I love HIM so.

In a nation dedicated to the proposition that all are equal under the law, it should be clear the bullies are the ones who deny to others the rights they expect for themselves.

Polarizing pejoratives and prejudice fail to provide any rational, legitimate governmental interest sufficient for denial of equal protections of the law as required by the 5th and 14th amendments.

Yes, the logical relationship is as follows:

Joseph = bigot
Joseph = Huszar

therefore, Huszar = bigot

And you still owe an apology to the real Hungarians, Joseph, for making them look ignorant thru the phony Huszar.

Not after I read the latest research:

Anyone who has ever attempted to debate a Republican using graphs, charts, data, statistics, research, reputable sources of information etc… has experienced the mind numbing reality of it. Facts don’t matter. Regardless of how much information conflicts with their beliefs, regardless of how well documented an opposing view is, they dismiss every bit of it in favor of the voices in their heads. While the results of the study are depressing to the say the least, at least people on the left now have evidence to support what we already knew – you can lead a Republican to facts, but you can’t make him think.

homosexuality is not allowed in the Christian Bible and any other depraved sexual act is strictly reserved for a man and a woman, male/female.. Different thinking of the marital act doesn't have a leg to stand on. LOVE between husband and wife includes utter respect for one another, no lust, no bestiality, only looking for a united future.

Same sex married couples are also looking for a united future together, based on mutual love and respect.

You continue to mistranslate and misinterpret a few select verses in order to justify contradicting the Golden Rule.

"What the Bible forbids is acts of lust, rape, idolatry, violation of religious purity obligations, or pederasty, but no condemnation of homosexuality in relationships of mutual respect and love. "On the other hand, the Bible pointedly celebrates instances of same-sex emotional intimacy, a fact often overlooked by fearful homophobic readers." James B. "Congress... cannot deny the liberty protected by the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment.

...the principal purpose and the necessary effect of this law are to demean those persons who are in a lawful same-sex marriage. This requires the Court to hold, as it now does, that DOMA is unconstitutional as a deprivation of the liberty of the person protected by the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.

The liberty protected by the Fifth Amendment's Due Process Clause contains within it the prohibition against denying to any person the equal protection of the laws. While the Fifth Amendment itself withdraws from the Government the power to degrade or demean in the way this law does, the equal protection guarantee of the Fourteenth Amendment makes that Fifth Amendment right all the more specific and all the better understood and preserved."
