I shoot at night all the time. Depending on what I am shooting I usually use a tripod to keep the camera steady during long exposures. I love to use lights to "paint" objects during photo shoots at night. Shooting in the dark can be really fun too. Just get out your camera and start experimenting and see what you can come up with.
