Charles Theller Wilson is my great-great grandfather. My father still has 3 of C.T. Wilson's paintings, which me sadly must sell. Two of the three paintings are of the redwood forest.

I recently bought 2 paintings in the style of C.T. Wilson and signed C.T. Wilson, but the signature is in the lower right. Does this mean that my painting isn't authentic? How can I tell?

I also have a painting of his 0f the Redwoods. Mine also have the signature on the bottom right corner. It was a gift from my father who was living in Eureka CA. He also gave me a right up about the artist but over the years I lost.

I also have a "CT Wilson mountain landscape. It is signed on right and is just a little different from pictures of same scene on internet, also signed on right. Which is the original, they are so close
