Headline doesn't match the intro nor does the enteo match the story.

Multiple shot to kill the guy. Close range so my guess is fifty percent missed.

I remember that and when I see a state trooper at the range I laugh at them. If a State trooper is firing his weapon safest thing to do is stand still. That way you don't run into a bullet.

Shooting at a range and shooting to protect your life are way two different things. After all, a cardboard silhouette doesn't fire back.

This is covered extensively in Ohio's CCW class. Even the most trained people respond differently from when they are target practicing and when they really have to defend themselves from another gunman.

Don't criticize unless you've been in that situation.

I have been in that situation. I take it you didn't watch the video that rowdy posted. Police troopers deputies worry about end of shift the next doughnut. I always am prepared to die I just want to kill as many as I can before I do. One shot one kill.

I've watched that video repeatedly in the past. It only proves my point that when you are in that situation and are fired at unexpectedly, it's difficult to shoot as if you are at the shooting range. The only thing going through your mind is surviving.

I'm sure these officers would be a much better shot had they been in a different situation such as holding up somebody in a house where they are behind their police cars and expect to be shot at.
