The performers did an excellent job. However I didn't see anything 'state of the art' about the theatre. The lighting was mediocre at best, the sound was weak, and often difficult to hear the performers clearly. The expensive new building has a poor design, with restrooms too far away from the theatre and too small. I expected better for such an expensive new building.

I agree, the sound could have been better for what it was hyped up to be. I couldn't hear the singers very clearly a lot of the time or not at all sometimes or they'd just cut in all of a sudden. Kinda distracting. Everything else was great though. The new building is beautiful.

To any RENT fans, I would not recommend going. I saw this show and it was painful. Most of the lead performers could not sing especially Roger and Maureen. Hopefully when Chico state puts this on in spring they will do better at paying homage to the true spirit of the show and not make such poor casting decisions.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
