Bocelli is the one who is crying in pain right now. The critics had their field day and the jury has come in: Mr Bocelli is not a very good singer!

He, having thrilled at the invitation to Lincoln Ctr., must now be private jetting back to Italy, humiliated and angry. He has to soon show up in London where the NYC critics have already appeared in print there, hardly setting the Brits up for a great evening of classical music.

I feel bad for Bocelli because I think he has something special but it is not vocal technique. The critics should stay away and perhaps they will in the future, having heard enough. Let his fans enjoy his small but beautiful voice. It is his and theirs, the fans', pretense at operatic greatness that has cause all the difficulty.

Well, I am deeply sorry for your acrid disappointment in him. I hope he fares better soon. So sorry.

I was not disappointed at all because by expectations are where they should be - Andrea is a great entertainer with a soulful voice who has a mesmerizing effects on the audience. He is NOT an opera singer with good technique.
So no need to feel sorry for me. Feel sorry for the fans who cannot accept this reality and who are in a continual tizzy defending this rich and successful person.

You, Ms. Pieper are the one we feel sorry for. You are alone in your thoughts of Andrea. He is loved everywhere he goes. I can love Pavarotti in his talented way I love andrea in his talent. They are different but both exceptional singers. When a man can bring an adult to their knees in tears out of pure beauty his is talented. Too bad you can't see that, I feel sorry for you too, that you can not feel the presence of ANDREA..................We, his loyal fans can never be disappointed in him. no way no how and we are not defending him, we are just stating facts to one isolated person that can not appreciate beauty when they are slapped in the face with it.

Too bad "Gertude Pieper" has nothing better to do than go behind the "critics" agreeing with the negatives. You are a spiteful person who has a bug up yourself where Andrea is concerned. Go analyze someone else's fans for a change. You see you get no where with Andrea's--ever!

I've just play in my Radio Programme Lacalles popular and beautiful song "Amapola" from the CD "Amore" with the blind tenor Bocelli. His version shows
clearly how this song MUST NEVER BE SUNG.
My person opinion is that Signore Bocelli
is not an opera singer and his Verdis Requiem was simply awful.

The critics didn't hurt Andrea's career or pride in the least bit. Why should he care about what a bunch of uptown snobs that think they are better than anyone else(That reminds me of a certain someone..) thinks?

Andrea is even more popular than ever gaining fans by the millions and why? Because he CAN sing! Because he HAS talent! Most of all, his fans can feel his heart and soul goes 100% into every song he sings.

No, the critics are not hurting his career. He has established himself as an entertainer like Yanni or Andrea Reiu. He is a money maker but an opera singer? No. The jury came in on that quite some time ago.
Andrea has been described as "down market". He was thrilled to have signed a contract with Lincoln Center - a place just crawling with "up town snobs". He immediately got on his forum and announced the signing so maybe he doesn't dislike them as much as you do. Maybe he wished to be counted among them. If invited back, I even bet he would come. I think he should accept. So if you're interested in "just the facts", these just might be the facts.
Oh, and by the way, maybe you should buy him a tank top. It might help.

Egad! Gertie rears her repugnant attitude again! Didn't I leave you on a far away topic somewhere ?

Jury? Give me a break. You put Brandy in your tea don't you?(I promise not to tell!)

"Just the facts" is the title I chose for the headline for MY title page. It has nothing to do with Andrea or who he has signed with or wishes, according to "you" to be counted among. Besides, I'm not really not interested in any so called facts that spore from that voracious tongue of yours.

Also, for someone acting to be so "intelligent", you just don't get humor at all do you? I'm going to spell this out for you nice and clearly.... I DID NOT GIVE VERONICA THAT TANK TOP! IT WAS A JOKE! A J-O-K-E!!! I SAID IT TO IRRITATE YOU AND IT OBVIOUSLY WORKED BECAUSE YOU KEEP MAKING FOOLISH COMMENTS ABOUT IT! I NEVER EVEN SAW THE INFAMOUS PICTURE WHERE SHE'S ALLEGEDLY WEARING THE SHIRT!

Oh, and by the way, maybe I should by YOU a tank top. I'm thinking it should read something like "BEWARE of Gertie the Andrea Bocelli Castigating *****.! Your a smart lady. I"m sure you can figure out the rest. For the record, I don't think it would help you if I bought you one though. Also, no offense to you or Veronica, but Andrea, in my own opinion of course would look sexier in a tank top than either of you.

One more thing Gertie...."just the facts" Andrea doesn't need me to buy anything for him. He has plenty money to buy whatever he wants. Wait...were you trying to be funny before??? Cracking a joke???(FYI I'm joking again in case you didn't notice.)

Have a great day!

Glad to hear you have a sense of humor although your name, Entrapment, does convey a sense of menace. Please stop picking on those up-town snobs. Remember, anyone answering to the name of "Maestro" is aspiring to become one - or be regarded as such. Take a look at Alberto. Can you imagine, his brother is a maestro! Who knew!!!!!!

Don't bother regarding me personally. "Gertie" is a legion, made up of those cherishing common sense, life experience and some devilish humor.

Aweeee....Now you've gone and hurt my feelings ma'am.(I'm joking...)

No worries though, I won't bother regarding you as anything, except naughty words we shouldn't say on forums. >:)

By the way, your right, it was very rude of me to pick on uptown snobs and I apologize to anyone I offended.(I'm serious)

Have a blessed day.

Just for the sake of asking, my cat, "Thumper", in the photo you see, wants to know if the meaning of "maestro" is
defined as ; a person with a high level of knowledge or skill in a field ? That could define both Andrea and Alberta couldn't it? He seems to think it does and your thinking outside the box ma'am.

Have a nice day!

he is really awful, and I am not a snob or envy him. He simply is a singer with a lot of fans, nothing else. I hope the people could realize what is important in the bel canto, because the popularity alone is not a talent that could be shown in the real deal, which is vocal finnesse.

andrea is known to be one of the best singers in the world. i think if the whole world has that opinion of him, these few haters on here dont know what a good singer really is.
check out the price of his tickets, dont think someone would pay 400 bucks to see a bad singer
he is awesome, brings goosebumps to everyone i know
