DvorskA1 2 to receive Centrope Prize for achievements in Central Europe
Slovak opera singer Peter Dvorsky will be awarded the Centrope Prize for 2012 at Vienna City Hall on Thursday, September 13, the TASR newswire learned from director of the Vienna Office in Bratislava Erika Rozkova.

The prize is granted to personalities for outstanding results in the cross-border regions of Central Europe. It is accompanied by a 10,000 grant.
Dvorský, who is one of the most famous Slovak artists, spent 23 seasons on the stage of the Vienna State Opera.
"The guests at this festive occasion will have the opportunity to enjoy Peter Dvorský's tenor voice," said Roková.
