"The Snows of Kilimanjaro" is a short story by Ernest Hemingway. It was first published in Esquire magazine in 1936 (source: Wikipedia).
The story follows the conscious experience of a man who broods on a mountain safari lodge in Africa with his girlfriend over the frail and sacred nature of health, ambition, and creativity.
"The Snows of Kilimanjaro" (1936) has been adapted by many and continues to reflect the market value of Earth-industrious Hollywood (USA) movies such as "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" (2008).
