Great books for boys -- and girls, too

The first thing you notice are the covers: swashbuckling swordsmen, intrepid explorers and shifty looking spies in vivid colors and a retro style.

Hi,

I grew up as a reluctant reader. Now I write action-adventures & mysteries, especially for boys 8 and up, that kids hate to put down. My web site is at http://www.maxbooks.9k.com and my Books for Boys blog is at http://booksandboys.blogspot.com

I'm a girl but I love adventure novels -- I prefer them being read to me though. I hope I can get my children into reading as well. Thanks for the link :-)
