Why don't the 2 lasts posts, who are the same person by the way...stop making stupid attempts to distort and interpret things to serve their purpose. Get over yourself...many people think differently than you and have every bit of right to their own opinion. Isn't yours what you keep trying to cram down everyone's throat? It's that simple. Now back to the topic which is keeping the information about George current. p.s. I applaud any parent who does their job in protecting their child by getting as much information as they can before enrolling them in an activity. Anything else is irresponsible. Obviously those who don't understand this are not parents.

I am not sure if I am misunderstanding laughings post but it sounds like you think any of us who decided to send our kids to Edge are irresponsible. On the contrary, I did do my research before making this decision and have absolutely no regrets. My daughter loves being with a lot of the old company members. I think that has helped her heal more than anything else. Yes, it was weird being in the studio again at first but honestly don't even give it another thought anymore that it used to be G's. She is loving dancing again and loves all the new instructors.

To Not Sure, sorry if it came across like that, I was just tired of all the people who think that theirs is the only opinion that matters. All of us have different thoughts and life experiences which lead us to our own conclusions about things. It is arrogant for any one person to think they have the answer everyone should follow. Very limited people truly know and can validly claim that they understand things 100% with regards to George and the events that took place. Everything else is left somewhere between assumptions and gossip. It is people like you that I get tired of seeing bashed. The ones who care enough about their loved ones to gain some knowledge and carefully choose who and what they are involved in. Considering everything we see and read about daily, I do not think someone should be insulted or told to hide themselves and their families inside, simply because they are cautious with their most treasured and un-replaceable children. I know this won't be a popular post, but it is just one thought and opinion.

I think there is something going on in court today. Watch channel 9 for details. Someone posted this info a week ago or so that 9 would be covering the story.

Will George confess his guilt, will he take a plea or will he go to trial? Personally, I think he is arrogant and deranged enough to go to trial. I bet his lawyer is having major second thoughts, though.

I bet his lawyer is having major second thoughts, though. Innocent or not he must go to trial. Every man in this country in a teaching capacity risks everyday of being accused of sexual misconduct by students and/or parents. Unfortunately his reputation has been damaged regardless of the outcome and the lives of his family, specifically his children, have been affected. I would be interested in knowing if there is any DNA evidence, video taped evidence or any evidence that is not circumstantial. Rumor and inuendo, the rabied comments of groups of students and parents, are not enough for me to convict this man of the charges. From some of the previous posts it reminds me of a witch hunt and the histeria that would accompany them. Think of all the people you come in contact with that are arrogant and deranged (subjectively of course), how many of them would you convict because you just don't like thier personality? Sounds like this Georgio became comfortable with his students and families (Did he trust his students and families too much?) and forgot the golden rule of male teachers- never put yourself in a position that would be compromised by not having adequate chaperones or did he distance himself from someone who was perhaps coming on to him only for them to start this vendetta and it has now snowballed? Law enforcement has an obligation to investigate and people who give depositions swear to tell the truth. People are not going to back down if they didn't tell the truth because they would lose face in thier community. It is easy to lie on both sides. I hope he has a good attorney, that the court is open minded and well schooled on the psychology of youth, women, and the falsely accused as well as the accused, that the prosecution has done all they can to produce accurate and truthful testimony from these young people and parents and that all involved are satisfied with the outcome. For now these youth have learned that they can get the attention of thier families and peers regardless of the outcome. This man has learned that today he can be on top of the world and tomorrow he can hit bottom- just because he's a man.

Sounds like the above post was once accused himself to be loosely blaming the victims. It is also idiotic to suggest the victims in this case were looking for attention from their families and peers, and don't want to "lose face in their community". What a joke. You insult the victims and their families with your insane suggestion that this would be such an easy thing to admit and go through. Hitting the bottom, as you state is solely George's responsibility for abusing the students and parents who thought they could trust him. A child predator is a child predator period. He knew what he was doing, he chose to put his family and life at risk, and he is now going to answer for it finally. There is no "witch-hunt" but there are many angry people, justifiably, toward the person who abused his position in the most horrible way. Every bit of support to the victims and their families as they go through this ordeal and prove his guilt in a court of law. You have my continued thanks for stopping this creature from adding more victims and sparing others the nightmare you have been forced to experience.

Or are you just another one of his few supporters left trying to convince us that Georgie didn't do it????

From the knowledge you have acquired regarding the case, you have managed to create a delusional "conspiracy theory" based on hear-say and your supposed knowledge of human psychology. Before you insult the intelligence of others, consider the reputation and psychological effects this case has had on the girls involved-not just the accused. Would so many girls put their reputation and character on the line for a little attention? I think it might be time to hit the psychology books a little harder before you go pointing fingers, however I will admit that you do have a great imagination.

I thought this poisonous crap had gone away for good 6 months ago but here we go again. A close friend had told us that this stuff was showing up here again so I thought I'd take a look for myself. Are any of you truly looking for a 100% guarantee? Because I'd be happy to give you one. My wife and I are the owners of Edge and we would have to be absolutely beyond stupid to have anything to do with Georgio Fagen. I think I am qualified to give out 100% guarantees on this so there you go. Feel better? If some of you are not comfortable with the studio, that's cool.. we understand. But please don't sit there at your computer and type a bunch of hateful BS that is based on pure speculation. I can understand why you have issues with Georgio, We have teen aged daughters ourselves and what he did is NOT ok. But to cast doubt on our character simply because we now own the studio is not only ignorant but slanderous too. We have worked very hard to make a very damaged bunch of kids happy again and I think we're succeeding. The recital was awesome and the kids had a blast. Do my wife and I a favor and leave us and Edge out of this. We are just trying to make a living...Nothing else, I guarantee it 100%. notWorthTheChance wrote: pretty much exactly why I would never go there. If there is a doubt, then there is a chance and it's not worth the risk in my view. It is not like there aren't other places or even other activities out there and people can try and convince me all they want, but the one thing they can't give is a 100% guarantee. Besides all of that, what horrible memories that building conjures up everytime I even pass it on the road. Had this studio opened anywhere else, it would have been more believable to me, but I would have still always wondered because of the connection. By the way, I am not speaking for anyone but myself, so don't over-react if you have a different opinion.

Wow... This website is so ridiculous. Come to Edge's Open House this Saturday 1-3 PM and see for yourself. No one is hiding anything around here. The place looks great, the instructors kill it and the people are happy because we treat them well. Hmmm wrote: Boy for someone on the up-and-up, you sure are defensive.
