What he meant was: The winds are in the veldt, the small gusts are our spirits and join now with the winds and the old woman of the hill calls out Nbonge-Nbonge. She is heard but none believe or really hear. Woe is it to the people of the veldt who hear but do not listen who see but do not smell for they have passed into the gathering mist and shall be seen not again. Or somnething like that.

Speak for yourself. LOTS of us DO want them here. In fact, most people I know in Naples appreciate cultural diversity and great music. We come to Naples for an enriching life.

More diversity is the way to go. Yay diversity. We need diversity. There must bne more diversity. When there is more diversity then we can have more diversity for our childrens children who will ask "what the heck was wrong with granny and the diversity question?" Now we can do something about diversity by getting more diversity than the diversity we already have which is not enough diversity. There is money to be made in diversity and the diversity gap. We can get the diversity vote sewed up with diversity and then we will have the whole diversity card and then and only then diversity can be pursued in seach of true diversity ever more.

So what are you mocking exactly? The term "diversity" or that many people enjoy encountering other cultures and new ideas? I'm curious.

Think she is saying something about diversity being a diversion that obscures the true racism of the whole damn place and how it is all sold out and commodified. Has become just another business. Or she is just a mocking twott. Who cares, she sounds committed to deep dumbness. She could be running for office, or already in one.

What we do is to turn our radios up and put them on the window of the trailer facing the mid road. Everybody does that at starting 9:45. Each of us has got a different station on. Some reggae, some ballroom, some classical, some opera, some hip-hop, some jazz...you get it. The cacophony is blessed and sometimes after granny has lit up the second, or third time...the disparate sounds seem to join together in other worldly song of some ancient high order.
