When Shoaib Mansoor says Islam mai daadhi hai , daadhi mai Islam nahi it means this :-
The fact that the holy Prophet has beard is not because of any technical (biological or otherwise) significance. It was because of the prevailing culture that the holy Prophet had a beard. Even abu-Jehel & the infidels had a beard . They too had an outlook (physical appearance) that was not much different from the hoy Prophet but what made the holy Prophet PBUH different was the inside of the body, i.e the batin, the soul of all the exterior. If holy Prophet would come in 21st century and declare to have a clean shave, would the conservatives agree to the Prophet or not?. Certainly they would. So the appearance of the holy Prophet is noble to be followed but the exterior of the Holy Prophet had no technical-religious significance. The holy Prophet never tried to be seen as Alien & certainly followed the traditions of living of the Arabs. This also goes to show that within certain boundaries one should adopt the living method (not conflicting any moral or social principles) of the country he/she lives in.
This was all the crux of the statement (script) Shoaib Mansoor put in the film.

there is very low level of knowledge in u mister. beard or darhi is the sunnah of all the pophets. all the propphets have darhi. and dont u feel fear by saying taht in 21 century he declare to have clean shave? dont u feel fear when u saying taht? darhi is sunnah of all the prophets, but many people make it tradtion of aarabs, it is the one sight of pic. jesus didnt belong to arab he has beard . moses didnt belong to arab he has beard. and above alll expalantion the biggest thing is that wat muhammad pbuh do is model for us.ok. he is model till last day. where the clean shave came in muslims from other civlization. after the colonial occupation of west. before there is no differnce between molvies or common man. ok.
and this is very weak point of so-called modernist that u have to be like muhammad pbuh form insdie out side did nt matter?!

U should read. Ur comment based on very weak knowledge .And the quote is not of shoaib mansoor this quote is by famous scholar ‘abu al modudi’. And its means there is beard in islam not the islam in beard that who one take beard, he is muslim, is wrong. Sikhs and many other non-muslim people take beard so islam is not in the beard, but beard is in isalm, there are very clear hadith abt beard. And this is sunnah mu`akida the sunnah which Muhammad pbuh never left. This is wajib.
Today our faith is that we ask to aalam like this” is it right to do ‘ certain thing’” we ask like ‘ I think it is not haram.‘
But we should ask’ what is haram’. So that we protect ourself .
Today instead we act upon islam we find ways and answers against the orders of islam like singing etc.
Islam has very clear point of view abt life that we are not here for the world we are here to prepare the world after death. And we have to use this world to prepare our exams. We are not made for the world but the wolrd is made for us. Any useless action is prohibited in islam, islam says to led purposeful life.

Alas, today’s so-called modernist interprets islam according to present world , they interprets qurran according to science oh the foolish people!
Instead they should interprets science in term of quraan because the quraan is the most right. And they should interprets world according to Qur`aan.

In a nutshell, work on action before you work on your get up. good action will cause your forgiveness before anything else. no one has insulted beard in the movie and the moral of the movie is to get more education of religion to take confusion off of your personality

The most unique aspect regarding this film is that it has some message for non muslims about the false image of the Islam.That would be the great achievement of this film.It really deserve an international recognition no doubt the best movie ever made in the whole subcontinent.

Assalam-O-Alaikum, Everyone.

I have already watched this movie on internet – This is true it’s a thought provoking movie and this is actually a new trend-setter movie in Lollywood - Only thing I would say, we should NOT AT ALL discourage the movies which quote/reference Islam. Media is the most powerful tool in this era. Others make a movie, a TV program, a website or a newspaper article and try to deteriorate ISLAM and its teachings by lies and fake stuff, and then inject that wrong belief/idea to the whole world, using Hollywood, Bollywood, CNN, BBC or etc. Every other movie in Hollywood and Bollywood is agains ISLAM and Muslims, and what we are doing in response, NOTHING. For example if they have spreaded the concept that Muslims are terrorist and they kill others, through their movies/media. DID we make any movie in response to tell this world the truth by quoting HADIT and QURAN as it says 'KILLING AN INNOCENT HUMAN BEING IS KILLING THE WHOLE HUMANITY'- So now after this movie, for example if someone else tries to make another movie about Terrorism and quotes/reference QURAN and HADIT, and tries to show the world that what actually ISLAM says about killing innocents, and how much ISLAM condemns , then he will do an EXTREMELY good job.

I live in London and have heard thoughts of Hindus, Christians, and people from other religions about us Muslims, and when I tell them that killing anyone like that is not allowed in our religion, they get surprised that if its really in QURAN. So in short I just want to say, please, please, please USE media as much as possible to spread the right teachings and concepts of ISLAM so that we could tell others that they should not judge ISLAM just by looking at a few Muslims – and they should try to look into the real ISLAM which is the 'MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY OF LIFE'

I appreciate this effort of the director but at the same time, I think some parts of the movie are controversial and a proper research may not have been done about these issues. I would strongly urge everyone who is into media, and doing some efforts for the same purpose, that they should be very careful before quoting/referencing ISLAM. Because if something goes wrong, and they released something not-well-researched to the world, it may effect thousands of lives and which is going to be an extremely big responsibility BUT please just don't stop and go ahead - DO Research and try to equip today's media with everything you can to show that ISLAM is really for everyone and for the whole humanity. And depict the beauty of ISLAM they way it should be done.

Although we should follow what Prophet (PBUH) did but If somebody knows about any Aayat from Quran for not to shave. Or if somebody knows about any order from Prophet (PBUH) for not to shave.

Some people cut the beard after a day or week for shave and some people cut the beard after a week, weeks or a month for trimming purpose. Please do tell me about the Aayat from Quran Or Strong Hadith that says not to cut your beard for shave or trimming purpose.

If somebody knows about any reference from Quran Or any Order from Prophet (PBUH) regarding Shave.

Some people CUT the beard after a day(s) or week for shave. Some people CUT the beard after a week(s) or a month(s) for trimming purpose. Please do refer from Quran or Strong Hadith about any order for not cutting it whether it is CUT for shave or Trimming purpose.

i read the quran when i was 13 and i do not think that allah is going to send you to hell for shaving or not shaving your beards. let me remember i think the quran tells you to trimm you're beard but i do not think that the prophet, peace be upon him, shaved his beard though. sorry i am not much help at all but i just think do whatever you want but do not kill anyone!!!!there are some muslim sects that do not remove hair from any part of the body and there are some that do. so do whatever makes you happy syed!!!!Good luck and happy ramadan to all muslims have a nice ramadan.

p.s can i ask a question to you muslims are you all going to eat at night and then not eat in the sunlight? do any of you muslims know why you are doing this???i heard that muslims eat alot at night and then they just go to sleep in the morning. no swearing at me please but i think that if you are going to fast you should fast!!!!!!and why do you muslims get angry if i eat infront of you. when you fast you should put yourself in poor people's shoes and we all eat when we go back to pakistan or india where poor people are walking around. imagine how they feel when we sit there eating and they are hungry but have no money to eat food!!!!so please do not get angry!!!do not fast because you are a muslim and you have to but because you want to from the bottom of your heart!!!!good luck again!!!!!

In saudi arabia a shopping mall, in riyadh,...played an ARABIC SONG,,,,....over the public address system...i was there...i saw with my own eyes...arab men and women stopping in their tracks and openly CRYING....they had NEVER heard music...as music is banned in that medeival "kingdom"
