1 "disturb" the little columbus audiences. ballet is only one style of dance that gets the most support because it never "upsets" the audience like other forms of dance. Yes, barbara zuck has been doing uneducated dumb reviews and it is a shame for the arts community. |

Did Ms Zuck see the Ssaturday night performance? I saw both and found Saturday night a better fit. Both Adrienne Bentz and Jon Drake did a superb job and were quite convincing in their role. I think Zoica Tovar had more fire as Black Swan but Emily still did a wonderful job. I found the four little swans to be done with good technique and briskness both nights. Kudos to both casts.

Dear Rebel, I was wondering why you bother to write about ballet since it is evident you have no knowledge about the classics. As a classical dance lover I also enjoy other dance forms and even ones that "disturb" me. However, not everything should be upsetting. A true dance officienado should see the worth in both types of dance. One style does not negate the other, but one style does demand more talent and technique.
