Nude Ballet Anyone Ever?

I have taken nude classes that were taught during a summer school. by guest teachers from the Bolshoi and Kirov ballets. The reason we danced nude was primarily so that our instructors could see all of our musculature and form and better correct our technique. Also, egos tend to disappear when dancing nude, and it becomes more about the dancing and was a very liberating if humbleing experience.

I've watched a small group of women in Houston who practice and put on small (seating 100) nude ballet perfomances. I meet one of the ballerines since she also is a life drawing model. I wish they would allow men to practice with them but it's just a womens dance group. Jorma

I recently joined a nude ballet lass. It's all men (not gay). It's a lot of fun, but a little awkward at times when close to one anothr. Anyone ever done ballet this way?

My wife and I are nudists, we enjoy exercise, hiking, weights, biking, yoga.. We also enjoy theatre, dancing, the arts.. Being naked for any of these activities is a always pleasant distraction... We would certainly enjoy watching a nude ballet recital, even enjoying being part of one except we can not master ballet.. Any input as to where we can enjoy such a recital or nude presentation would certainly be appreciated.

I'm not a prude, but I would find watching naked people dancing so mesmerizing, that I would not care about the choreography, I would just be entranced with the human body, and of course, if there was an erection or two, I think I would start thinking of it as a game, you know like "I wonder what dance move is going to give the next erection?" LOL

I have been in a ballet class in which all our practices are held in the nude. All students, male and female are nude at practices. The male students, at one time or another have all become erect that I have noticed, and it can be a little awkward when the practice session at the time calls for close contact situations. It was also awkward for one male student, who was quite new, who did always seem to be erect to me, when he fell forward and bump into another male's behind, head first, and I don't mean the head on his shoulders. :)

Come on. No way.

Naked straight men with erections rubbing them on each other's butts?

No way. Just no way. I'm speechless.

no way.

Yes lol, it happened. Their penises whether or erect or not often come into contact with us other students during practices, males and females. We are told that practicing in the nude with each other is not only very free, but it is a form of expresson and a bonding experience that helps in our performances when dressed.

I've got enough of a stigma to overcome, being 27 and male and just starting ballet! I just don't like the idea of some of the manifestations!

Dude, come on. Boners?

I'm the most comforable person I know. You're still not going to find me rubbing boners with another dude, LOL! WOW.

Maybe it's because I'm a female, but I didn't think it was an extreme big deal as you say for the guys, just awkward as it is sometimes for all us just being nude. I mean, I don't mind that I come into contact with their parts, just as I hope the don't mind mine, ya know?:)

Mixed class - still uncomfortable, but OK.

All guys, and supposedly they're all straight (with boners)- Hmmmm.

My class is mixed, so I guess it's to be expected, and I know "David" (the original poster in this thread) said that his class is all men, but didn't he say that they only sometimes got erections during shows in front audiences? Even if they ge erections during practice too, with all being men and nude, don't erections just sometimes happen for no apparent reason, or couldn't they still feel just a little excited being nude around just men, just for the sake of being nude in front of each other even if they are straight?

In my class, we always practice without clothing at all, but for performances we are dressed for the occasion. We have males and females in my class, and yes the males do get erect at times, but not constantly. I guess the instructors have us too busy practicing for us to realize we are even nude as much anymore.

nude ballet is pure freedom of movement.

When i first joined my ballet class which has nude practice sessions that are voluntarily nude only if you want to, I always practiced clothed, but everyone else was nude. I finally tried it though after a few weeks, and then loved it.

The males in our class rarely are erect, and even then it is not a big deal at all. It's always business. We do some very close contact ballet, and it doesn't seem anything but art to me.

So do all of you wear shoes while otherwise naked? You would have to to dance en pointe. Anyway I danced with a small modern dance company years ago and in the summer we would often practice in the nude. There were two guys (both gay) and six women. This, however, wasn't a class for anyone to join and wasn't "officially" nude. We just did it because it was hot as hell in our practice space and it is just fun to dance naked sometimes. I was always comfortable with it but we never performed nude though. Baring my buns in a thong leotard was afar as I was willing to go on stage.

That is correct, Libby. We do wear our shoes during practice, but that's necessary. I'm glad to hear other people like you have had the experience of ballet in the nude.

Were the males in your class ever erect? I don't always know if the guys in my classes are gay, but they all have been erect at one time or aother.

If so, do you mind it? I like it I guess, because I find interesting to see them while erect, but it's always art in one form or another to me.
