Hi :)
I took ballet when I was 5 for about a year or so but then stopped to do other things. For my whole life I've wanted to dance (I'm turning 15 in a few days) and I have always been jelous of dancers. I just picture myself dancing. I really don't know if I'm good enough though. I know that people of all ages start ballet, but I would love to become flexible and someday go on pointe. Is it too late? I'm willing to put in the time/effort but I have other things I do outside of school so is my goal unreasonable?

Do you think I'm to old to start doing ballet. I am 16 years old and have always wanted to try it out. I am not flexible at all and can't even do the splits . It seems such a great sport and I would love to do it ! Any suggestions???

I know a girl that has done the splits in a week. U may not be AS flexible, but I bet I can do it. Make sure u don't hurt yourself! Also, it's NEVER to late for ballet. If u want to be a professional, it's best to start earlier, but if u work hard, u can become a professional at any age! Just like the famous ballerina Misty Copeland.
I'm eleven and i want to start ballet soon.

If u "always" wanted to start, then why didn't u?

That's the question people ask me. I'm eleven and I have always wanted to start, but didn't. Now I know that just "always wanted to start" hung doesn't mean ANYTHING. Follow your dreams, do what u want. It's never too late.

I know a girl that is also eleven and accomplished the splits in a WEEK!

Hi I would really like to start ballet again.. I started when I was 3 till I was about 6 or 7. I stopped because I moved to a different town and the ballet teacher at my new academy didn't really help... I obviously gained weight and I now weigh about 125lbs... I'm 14 years old 5 feet 5 inches. and I want to try it out again so I can loose weight... I have tried dancing at home and I just go with the flow.. Haha and people say I'm a natural dancer.. I would say I really am out of shape so would this be a problem? Would my age be a problem
