If you like the idea of siting a casino in Milford, MA don't listen to the pros and cons - take a drive to Atlantic City, NJ and see for yourself the blight
that casinos have caused there. If you prefer, take a trip to the home foreclosure capital of America, Las Vegas, NV, and ask about the plentiful new jobs the casinos are creating. Finally, if you are still an enthusiast consider this: If the owners, the state, numerous affected municipalities and many other "causes" are all going to be entitled to a major piece of the action, what will the players be left with? Be very careful about what you wish for!

Let's build the casino in Milton MA, right next to Deval Patrick's Mansion. If the Welfare Kings and Queens actually were forced to work we wouldn't even need a casino in this state.

Look who wants to build a casino in Milford. Foxwoods, who is billions in debt and they want MA to be billions in debt too. Same with Mohegan Sun. In debt and they want to build here too. These casinos depend on people who get a check the first of the month because they are the steady customer base. Milford would be no different than CT. The riff raff would be bused in from every corner of the state. Illegals migrating on the buses from New York and elsewhere. Crime will be up. Traffic will be heavier. Milford will be badmouthed worse than it ever was. It will become a slum. Patrick also has a home in the western part of the state. Build there too.
