I agree. Kumar Sanu was the pillar of romantic Hindi music in the late 80s and thru the 90s. He basically took over from Kishore Kumar and did a damn good job copying Kishoreda's exact style in "Aashiqui" and "1942 - A Love Story". But let us not forget that he developed his own soulful style later that still had a resemblance to the King Kishore but was very different. Tahir is also right in the sense a lot of singers like Babul Supriyo and others copy him. Personally I like his singing a lot and would like him to throw his ego out of the window and start singing again!
