Dont think he is that good a singer. A voice that is very "nasal" in nature and a very artificial quiver. I guess.. a lot of ppl who have tried to copy Kishore have used more of nose than mouth to sing(sadly). He has sung some good songs though under some able music directors. There are better singers in the industry. btw its strange that we dont get to listen to him at all now a days. Anyone knows why ?

HI, TO ADD SOMETHING ABOUT KUMAR SANU THE GREATEST, THE BEST ... I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT ALTHOUGH THE MUSIC DIRECTORS ARE TO BE BLAMED BUT IN MY VIEW THE MAJOR ROLE IS BEING PLAYED BY THE SONG WRITERS/ CHOICE OF POETRY AND THE LYRICISTS. GOSH!!! LOOK AT THE POETRY, LYRICS AND THE THEMES OF SONGS NOWADAYS. IMAGINE KUMAR SANU SINGING THESE STUPID SONGS :) LOL. ANYWAYS, KUMAR SANU KNOWS THE WORTH OF GOOD POETRY AND THE WAY TO SING IT, IT IS ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS WHY HE DISLIKES BOLLYWOOD'S SO-CALLED MODERN SONGS.
