Maalik is another example of Guts and challenging attitude of First Superstar of Indian cinema, who gives emphasis on quality not on cheap trend for box office result.

Already been there before. Unimpressed with the self promoted and the self fed blog. He should be ashamed with himself.

If Rajesh Khanna were to host a blog. Massive Traffic Jam!

Maalik - Saw this movie recently...

Its a movie that preaches belief in god....Though a rationale mind would have few questions on few miracles that appear in the movie, it was surprising to see the singular focus with which director had approached this movie...devoid of any masala...even comedy scenes of Deven Verma and Sonia are subdued and never overdone...

Needless to say Kaka ji lives his part...very convincing as a staunch believer in god...at times you almost feel he would have been like that character in real life too...maybe thats a kaka fan in me talking...:)

One of the best scenes enacted is the scene where RK is in front of his idol Krishna and with only his facial movements and eyes everything including his pain and complaints were conveyed. It was after he learned that his son wouldn't survive. Without words, shouting and anger. Compare this with a scene a couple of years later in a movie where the hero went to a mandir complaining to God why he made his mother ill. Only shouting, abusing and it even looked as if he was trying to fight the murti. What a difference.
Though in the same movie the iconic lines: "mere paas maa hai" were spoken decently, not shouted.

Absolutely right. That big beggars shouting would have scared GOD away.HE would have thought "did i create this monster"?????RK's subtle acting was apt to show the real love for GOD.It showed total submissiveness.I a staunch atheist did for those 2 hrs become agnostic only moved by his acting prowess.
