LOL - Yes! Vaccinations against superstition.
No question about it!
Furthermore, all clergy should be required to be able to produce evidence of the FULL set of such vaccinations, upon demand.
That does not mean that there are no such things as wondrous miracles or Beings of Light who can very surely reach us from the "other side!"
I am as skeptical as I can be and am of the opinion that superstition and unfounded taboo can often be found at the base of our entire belief system.
But, I have also perceived things that cannot be either denied or explained by any other means other than to accept them as a portion of reality that defies or is beyond the logic of a "Newtonian" reality.
Christ Jesus is every bit as real as you or I am. More can be said about this. But, no more is actually necessarily said, to get the point across.
Furthermore, no amount of reading of scripture is sufficient to make a person's understanding and comprehension of what that scripture may bring become a valid understanding and comprehension.
One thing is absolutely crucial to the development of such valid understanding and comprehension: That is, that truth may be ultimately an infinite constant. But, our comprehension of truth is finite, at least until we let our understanding venture into a mutual acceptance of the infinite. It accepts us as much as we accept it!
So, if at any time you think you know it all or you think you are completely right, prepare yourself to get some more of what you don't yet know. Those who are looking for this have a big advantage.
Parable of the Brides waiting for the Groom to arrive. Some filled their lamps with oil and trimmed their wicks. Others did not and when the time came to present themselves before their Lord, some, many, were not prepared. And when they realized their insufficiency, they asked of those who WERE prepared to give of their oil. Didn't happen.
I'll say it one more time. The person of Christ Jesus is just as real as you or I am. Maybe that is bad grammer. But, it is intended to be so in the context of this message, for a reason.
Atheism is not an option. It is a denial of one's own Self.
