What a waste of money. The underpass access is to long that it save you no time. It's a wide underpass with all paths leading to it are narrow. The station is cramped with no benches and not that many places to sit. They put table in the middle of where people stand so it is now even more cramped. The city complained about loss of parking revenue then they remove spaces to put in a veteran walkway that was done poorly because the contractors had tush to finish it. All of us daily commuters hate it.

The new underpass at the Tinley Park 80th Avenue Metra station wasn't intended to save you time. It's purpose is to provide a safe means of allowing commuters to get from one side of the tracks to the other side without the risk of getting run over by a train.
