Trompeter finds new job in California

It's bittersweet news for Jeanette Trompeter fans. First the good news: the former WCCO-TV anchor who was let go from Channel 4 in March has a new gig.

I started watching WCCO again when she was hired...it's a huge loss for MPLS, but she will be going home to where she first started out at....CA is lucky to have her back...WCCO news will not be the same without her.

There is only on thing wcco could do to help ratings. Air Frank spraying his hair pitch black before every newscast. Wcco went down hill when Randy Kaye left for the big time. Jeanette Trompeter was a class act and could write and package a story. Now viewers are stuck with the fake banter of husband and wife.

Why don't they can Don Shelby and his Adams Family pinstripe suit. The guy is a walking DFL press release. Last night he portrayed our military members as possible vigilantes! He was afraid for one of his muslim military pals after the Fort Hood terrorist attacks. I haven't seen any protests or heard of any threats against any muslims anywhere in the country. Not one. The guy is a joke.

I do not watch cco after they let her go. I had to e-mail them 2 times to vent my
disgust at there letting her go. Finally they responded that is was economics. BULL,
now they have someone who reminds me of June Cleaver. You would think if it
was economics they wouldn't be hiring someone else.
They should have gotton rid of Amelia or for that matter Shelby.
