Hi, I'm looking for info on an Argentinean translator Teo Verbrugghe de Villeneuve, who translated from French into Catalan and hailed from Argentina. He was mainly active in the late 1930s and in the mid-fifties. I'm doing some research on him and his family for my PhD and would appreciate any help i.e. where can I go to look this up (libraries, social register, etc.). My Spanish is pretty dire as I forgot most of it but I have friends who can help.

Any lead, even the most seemingly insignificant information is much appreciated and will of course be credited if used later on.

Hi,
I don't know if you could finally find somme informations about this Teo Verbrugghe de Villeneuve. As for me, I'm interesting in finding informations about Louis and Georges Verbrugghe, two brothers born in France or Belgium in the 1840's and who moved in Columbia after participating to the french attempt of building a canal in Panama.
If Teo was related to them, could you answer this post and let me know about it ?
Thanks
H

Hi Jayare,
I think you are looking for my great grand father. Marta, my grand mother is still alive. So if you want I can ask her anything you need to know.
