People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants to pay a million dollars for fake meat - even if it has caused a "near civil war" within the organization.

I'll have two petri-burgers; some fries, and an algae-dog, well done.
Extra polysorbate, Zippy. |

It's people! Soylent Green is made out of people. They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. Listen to me, Jake, Mr. Bill. We've gotta stop them somehow!

No actually will probably be some geneticly modified lettuce cow cell. But then all vegans will cry about how a plant screams when you harvest it. Someday people will realize - no matter what you eat short of shit - you gotta kill something to get it. |
NO, IT'S PEOPLE !!! It'll be people; I know it. Damn this green religion sh!t will lead us all Hell. |

stop chewing your fingernails - you're scaring me :-) |
Dont you get it? Maybe I'll be chewing YOUR finger nails when I bite into a Soylent Green sausage!!! The damn elitist bean sprout eaters in their high rise condos think there are too many of us people in the streets. How many people can a man eat in his lifetime? More than he will meet. You do the math. |

You can stop you addiction to meat as it is only the spices you like anyway. I am interested in this only for catfood. Last time i tried to help my cats to become vegetarian they got alittle ill. But I am vegetarian 365 days a year. No problem. Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food.

PETA would have no problem with that. |

New to the forum? Please educate yourself about PETA. They hide behind their mantra of "Be Kind To Animals". What they are really about is Total Animal Liberation. Their Holy Grail is that animals have their own rights. To do this they must first deprive the citizens of the most wonderful and free country in the world of this- their property rights over their own animals. To liberate all animals PETA will wage a war against humanity itself.
PETA brags that it will do "Anything It Takes" to bring about Total Animal Liberation. They advocate using misinformation, bullying/harassment, media manipulation, "preaching" to young children, buying up stock in meat/food enterprises, killing thousands of animals rather them having them "enslaved as pets", junk science, ect. Oh yeah, they also fund known animal rights terrorist groups. PETA's cult leader Ingrid Newkirk loathes her own existence, saying "I wish I wasn't here, I wish there was a void where I am". She loathes your existence too, saying "Humans are like a cancer upon the Earth" and "The world would be a better place without people on it." And still this group finds PEOPLE, whom they LOATHE, to join in and spread their message that is destructive to humanity. These are not the kind of people to consult with or be enlisted to "help" with any animal enterprise. These are the people who we should teach our children about and by doing so guarantee freedom of animal ownership for the generations to come. Educate yourselves and those you care about now (please and thank you!)- PetaKillsAnimals.com ActivistCash.com See the Penn & Teller video on Youtube (funny, very informative, three part series) |

The whole 'petakillsanimals' argument has been attacked many times on the activism forums and I am yet an argument that argues back. I'm not actively supporting peta, but websites like this are just doing what they criticise peta for. They are promoting hate with baseless facts they haven't thought through themselves and give no (or very little) logical argument in return. They thrive on pointing out flaws in charity work, twisting it or only giving half the story and then hold the belief that after doing this, they are then morally justified to oppose them without reason. |
|
|
........ In other words people who use sites like this to defend their argument take the view:- Peta kills animals - killing is always unethical in my opinion - so therefore what Peta did is unethical without question - therefore Peta are bad and whatever they say cannot be trusted - therefore I am morally free to go around eating, wearing and doing whatever I want and if you protest then you are just as bad as peta.... basically!
