<quoted text>I wonder why you anti vegans can't grasp how insane you appear when you infest threads about VEGANISM even though you know NOTHING about it. I've never claimed to be an "authority" but I can assure you that I know far more about being vegan than any of you..though of course the witless trolls want to claim they are instantly expert nutritionists on veganism when they clearly know NOTHING about it..
This coming from someone claiming that vitamin B12 is a "bacteria".

I'm glad you have learned this, PSYCHO. Now you're not quite the Dolt you were, but a Dolt none the less.

By the way, is this where you found your NEW knowledge?...

Ultimately, animals must obtain vitamin B12 directly or indirectly from bacteria, and these bacteria may inhabit a section of the gut which is distal to the section where B12 is absorbed. Thus, herbivorous animals must either obtain B12 from bacteria in their rumens, or (if fermenting plant material in the hindgut) by reingestion of cecotrope faeces.
Plants pulled from the ground and not washed scrupulously may contain remnants of B12 acquired from the bacteria present in the surrounding soil.[58] B12 is also found in lakes, before the water is sanitized.
Vitamin B12 is found in foods that come from animals, including fish and shellfish, meat (especially liver), poultry, eggs, milk, and milk products.[1] Eggs are often mentioned as a good B12 source, but they also contain a factor that blocks absorption.[citation needed] However, the binding capacity of heat treated egg yolks and egg whites is markedly diminished after heat treatment.[60] Certain insects such as termites contain B12 produced by their gut bacteria, in a way analogous to ruminant animals.[61] An NIH Fact Sheet lists a variety of food sources of vitamin B12.
While lacto-ovo vegetarians usually get enough B12 through consuming dairy products, vegans will lack B12 unless they consume B12-containing dietary supplements or B12-fortified foods. Examples of fortified foods include fortified breakfast cereals, fortified soy products, fortified energy bars, and fortified nutritional yeast. According to the UK Vegan Society, the present consensus is that any B12 present in plant foods is likely to be unavailable to humans because B12 analogues can compete with B12 and inhibit metabolism.[62][63]
Some critics of meat-eating and nutritionists cite that the human intestinal tract also contains B12-producing bacteria[64], however, it is unclear whether this is in sufficient amounts for proper nutrition.
Claimed sources of B12 that have been shown to be inadequate or unreliable through direct studies[65] of vegans include laver (a seaweed), and barley grass.[66] Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a strain of nutritional yeast, often contains vitamin B12, either naturally occurring or as an additive.[67] Because nutritional yeast is often used by vegans, who usually need to supplement their diets with vitamin B12, there has been confusion about the source of the B12 in nutritional yeast. Although yeasts are closer to animals than plants in their genomes and metabolisms, they are fungi and cannot produce B12, which is only naturally produced by bacteria. Some brands of nutritional yeast, though not all, are fortified with vitamin B12. When fortified, the vitamin B12 is produced separately (commonly cyanocobalamin) and then added to the yeast.[68][69] Although some species of bacteria that can produce B12 could potentially grow along with S. cerevisiae in the wild, commercially produced nutritional yeast is grown in controlled conditions that would normally not allow those bacteria to grow.[citation needed] Therefore, nutritional yeast should not be relied upon as a source of B12 unless it is fortified with B12 during processing.

What the above means is that herbivorous animals get B12 from the bacteria in their gut. The remnant of B12 found in dirty plants or dirty water is not enough.
Humans have evolved so far from their herbivorous ancestors that like other carnivorous animals they can't produce B12 in their gut, they get B12 from the meat they eat.
Veganism is an unnatural pretentious farce and will make you very sick or kill you.

Meat-eaters represent at least 97% of the population... DUH ! They so overwhelmingly outnumber non meat-eaters that such comparisons are absurd and laughable at best. Yes LUMPY, you really are this clueless.

You are a bumbling idiot like all trifling trolls and you freaks are going ballistic because VEGANS are living proof that humans do NOT NEED TO EAT CORPSES. Hilarious that you waste away your pointless 'life' fretting over people who are intelligent enough to not eat corpses and secretions. You're a 63 year old effing l o s e r.'tis true!
Some folks simply have problems absorbing B-12. Your comparison is as dense and asinine as you are but that certainly figures.

And once again you have confused your IQ score with my age.

You are neither intelligent nor sensible by any stretch. You prove that here daily.

For the vast majority of humans, your plant based diet is deficient in both protein and B-12 and no amount of prevarication will change that fact.

Be sure to humiliate yourself again and again----after all you have nothing better to do!
The vegans I know (and I know several) are NOT so healthy. They break bones easily and are NOT flattering physical specimens. Lack of complete proteins is the #1 reason. Face it, you are peddling snake-oil here that simply doesn't work for the overwhelming majority of folks. The vegan population of the USA will never exceed 1%.

Sure, if you have the time, available variety and money to gather and combine the plant matter required and eat 8 meals a day, you might get a minimal mount of complete proteins but not enough for an active adult. And NO amount of your animal rights horseshit will change that fact. You are quite simply the Anti-Christ of human nutrition.

Face it, troll, NONE of you knows a thing about being VEGAN yet you are obsessing over this thread and everything I say. YES, I am vegan and I am my own living proof that humans do not need to eat corpses or secretions but for some reason you corpse eaters refuse to accept this FACT.
FYI, einstein, what OBLIGATE CARNIVORES need to do has NOTHING to do with what humans choose to do. No doubt that corpse consumption has clogged your ability to reason. Better luck next time.
No one is challenging the vegan lifestyle here, sweetheart. What we're challenging is that you come here screaming that you're superior simply because you're vegan. If you can't handle criticism of your lifestyle then kindly leave the playground and step into real life.

Shall I spell it out to you?

We do not effing care that you are a vegan. We care that some hissy little girl thinks that because she is a vegan it magically makes her better than everyone else because it makes you look stupid, uninformed and disrespectful of everybody else who just happens to be a vegetarian or an omnivore. Honey, it never will make you better, and it's sad that you can't accept criticism of your lifestyle because of your grandiose assumptions about your overblown mindset.
