There were not only 8 people killed March 1-08 like Armenian govermment advertising. The government covering real story thats why we are protesting. Ther ia a lot of kidnapping innocent people killed by military. They are still kidnapping innocent protestors. We are getting all this information calling our families. This regime is not going to calm down Armenian people protesting for there rights. The democratic countries need to stand next to Armenian people and pressure the government stop using weapons to keep angry protestors. We are fighting for our votes. They should give people a chance to voice there opinion.

In times of crisis we must keep calm and maintain our attention focused. Every nation has problems, and we have ours.I am sure Armenians have a legitimate path to an agreement. We must be patient
and trust our National Profile to form according to the needs of the moment. We can not reject our dark side, because it is necessary in order to survive
in a dark situation. But we all know that light is the only element that disperses the dark, so lights on!!

You are right but people in L. A. get the wrong information from this Armenian televisions. Most of this people on the TV are the people who held good posts in early 90's when Levon was in charge. They say that women in Armenia are being raped by serg's people this is just crazy. We all know very well that it is not possible.

Just a opinion. At what point does the government say ok this has gone too far.
Could you go to Washington DC block traffic, demonstrate for days and loot, burn cars etc and expect no reaction what so ever? I am not in Yerevan so my question is hypothetical

Well, if you dont mind me interjecting... It would be like me punching you in the face because of your comment. A little to excessive wouldn't you say?? Just because people participate in an unsanctioned protest, which the government could have simply allowed to go on for another 3 years, does not give permission to take the lives of citizens.
Take it as you will, but I have heard that the death toll is much higher than reported. And that some citizens are missing. Lets cross our fingers and hope that the 'ministry' of health is not like other state institutions in Armenia.

Every nation has to go through the pangs of growth,
If the actual government is enriching its self, then their children will have more education, and a greater knowledge how to govern, we are creating an elite . We can not expect positive results in just 15 years, this is part of the process, Bad government is a plague, good government takes time and sacrifice. I realize that we are paying a high price for the bad leadership that we might have, but we are better off from our ancestors 90 years ago. So let us accept this improvement and keep working.
It is easy to say this, and I truly sympathize with my Armenian brothers and sisters in Armenia
who feel neglected by an immature government,-Tzavernit Danem- But we must remember that we must ask,[what should I do for my nation? rather then what does my nation do for me?[

if u r not in yerevan then keep quiet, coz ur comment is ignorant and cynical, nobody was burning any cars and doing any loothing until kocharyan's armed forces attacked sleeping people, women and men, and started beating, and beating everyone one who was waiting for a bus, or going to work or gathering in 2-3...people defended themselves, becuz hayastanstis don't take shit from anyone, if someone hits your head with a club what would u do????
and i know all the details becuz my wife was there and all her family and we know how poeple were being dragged to police for the last 1 month....

The issue is about elections, and everytime there is one there will be disagreements. We can not allow this to weaken our nation, nor our resolve to go forward. I am aware that many Armenians in Yerevan are not happy about this election, but we must not throw the baby out with the bath water.
As for you Bob burns do you get off on cinical comentary? And yes the Russians do help us, and we help ourselves as well, so what do we need you for?
