A Knight's PrayerAlmighty God, Eternal Father, Lord of Lords, have mercy upon me, a humble knight in Thy Divine Service. Oh Lord, I pray for Thy indulgence and blessings. Forget not Thine servant in his trials, nor his Order of Knighthood. I pray, that Thy Will be done in all things, both great and small.

Let me always be worthy of Thee, let me not forget Thee in good times nor bad. Armor me with the armor of Thy Righteousness, give me the sword of Truth that I shall confound Thine enemies and be unto Thee a true knight.

O Lord, in my hour of need, be with me. Let me never forget my sacred and holy vows unto Thee, that I should not be prey unto demons and devils nor the dark things of this world.

Let me always be a beacon unto those in distress, never allow me to forget my obligation unto the homeless nor the poor: let me serve Thee and Thine Eternal Throne all the days of my life. Let me always remember the obligations that I have taken upon me. Lord, if it is Thine Will, let me serve Thee forever!

If ever, oh Lord, I turn from Thee and this Order, let my name forever be cursed, may my spurs be broken and my body given unto demons to dwell with them forever in that Lake of Fire which Thou hast: prepared for the ungodly.

Power beyond Power, Pillar of Strength, Refuge of the Homeless, let me serve Thee for all the days of my life! Amen.

The above words were part of an oral history of the Crusades compiled in 1200 A.D. and were spoken by a Knight Hospitaller moments before a battle against enemy forces.

Seems I've heard this before.

too funny...someone thinks the templars were noble and just knights...nothing could be further from the truth...thieves, rapists and murderers is their legacy...

Our Father, who art in Hades
Hallowed be thy ween
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Hades
Give us this day our daily dread
And tempt us into our trespasses
As we tempt those who try to save us
Lead us into temptation
And deliver us to evil
For thine is the kingdom
and the power, and the glory
for ever and ever
Amen

A true Templaric prayer.

How to read middle english:- "i" substitutes for "j" in medieval latin, and "u" for "v", this is often carried through into middle english spelling. The "th" sound should be a mirror image "y", i.e. the "thorn" symbol, I have had to use "th" still (hence "ye olde tea shoppe" is really saying "the" after all). "z" substitutes for the "gh" sound. Plurals end with "is" and not "s", and "y" should often be read as "i", e.g. "yng" for "ing".

Templar Prayer
Prayer of the Knights.O Lord, For Thy five wounds that we carry on our insignia we pray to Thee. Give us the strength to love All beings of the world That Thy Father has created and, more so, our enemies. Free our soul and heart from sin, from partiality, from egoism and from cowardice so that we can be worthy of Thy sacrifice. Let Thy Spirit fall upon us all, The Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, so that it may render us as convinced and sincere ambassadors of Peace and Love among our brothers and, especially, among all those who do not believe in Thee. Give us Faith to face all the problems of everyday life and to deserve the day to approach Thy presence humbly but without fear.

Amen

Warriors blessing
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

THE KNIGHT'S PRAYER

Supreme commander, who has given me the admonition to be always ready and has granted me the grace to know it, help me to be fathful to it.

May all life's circumstances find me ready for duty: loving what is beautiful. doing what is right, perpetuating what is true. devoted to my kind, protector of animals, alwayes ready to forgive, always prompt to succor, smiling while undergoing trials, thinking clearly, being pure of heart, chaste of body, and only voicing things that are just.

Here lord are your footsteps. I want to follow them without fear and without reproach. My soul virile and my head held high. This is my promise as a knight, and upon my honor I shall not fail confident O Lord, in your love and your grace,

+Amen+

What is your problem dpb you are relating the whole group of people as eval when only a select few were the bad ones. Its like relating to the fact that most black people commite the most crimes, and saying that all black people are bad. But that is not true! The Templars faught and died for the freedom of the holy land, the most you can do is to respect the dead.

The Knights of Templar are some kind of cult that has led KM into blasphemy, apostasy and idolatry. That is so sad. It's so severe that KM now believes in evolution.

Just look at what happened to KM after he joined the Templars. He used to be such a nice, clean cut young man who listened to classical violin music and read the Bible. Now, he has grown a beard, listens to Lucia Micarelli
and reads Fossil News http://www.fossilnews.com/index.html What more proof do you need?

Yes, it is about the Templars, the group that made institutionalized homosexuality popular...

Daniel the Templars were framed by King Philip IV of France he Was Jealous of much power that the Templar Knights had, and also his country was in a heap of debt. So what King Philip did is he sent his soldiers to go out and capture every single Templar that they could find, and torcher them until they would confess to what ever the king wanted. I'm pretty sure that any one would confess to any thing if they were having firer applied to the soles of their feet till you could see the bone sticking out of their skin, or being placed on a thumbscrew. Pope Clement V went along with this because he was friends with King Philip when they were growing up. The Templars fought and die for their faith and for the freedom of the Holy Land and in turn they were betrayed just like Christ was. Funny thing is God had his vengeance, both Pope Clement V, and King Philip IV died with in that very year. I would believe that is check mate my friend.
