4 Investigates: Illegal security guards

This has gotten far away from the initial intent of the story and has gone into the bounds of people that need to just shut up before this gets pushed into the area where charges can be filed because of statements and threats.
I wasn't there, and only have the 2 sides of the story to review.
But Mary, why did you chase them? That's the kind of decision that helps people wind up in BCDC where they get a rack and 3 hots.
Poor decision-making skills. Is that the kind of decision you'd be making while providing security? Then you don't need to be a certified security guard.
Who'll be the bigger person and just walk away?

Just one thing....Like "disgusted" suggested, I looked up Robb and the Everest Group on New Mexico courts. Every case involving them, the Everest Group or Robb was the plaintiff. I could not find any evidence of either ever being sued. Check your facts before you try to throw mud.

Not comming to anyones defense here, but your right. All this is public information and can be found at the click of a button. Just go to www.metrocourt.state.nm.us for the district stuff and nmcourts.com for the state wide stuff.

And, Igor I have to agree with you. This has turned into a shouting match. Mary needs to step back and admit that it was dangerous to conduct that activity with a child in the car, and the investigators need to step back and stick to the facts of their investigation. So I shall be the bigger person since I am rather large and say this is enough. Stick to the subject.

Unless the law has been changed (Which I Seriously doubt) the state law is that entering any establishment selling or serving alcohol with a firearm is a 4th degree felony, unless given permission by the owner of the establishment. It doesn't matter if the firearm is in plain sight or concealed. It does not matter if the establishment has a sign posted or not. That sign is posted by some as a warning.

A CHL (Concealed Handgun License) holder can legally enter an establishment selling alcohol for off site consumption so long as the weapon is concealed AND a Valid CHL is in the persons possession. NM 30-7-3.

Try going to NMcourts.com and search "Everest" It comes up with 4 pages of current cases against the everest group.

He couldn't hack it in real police work so he left and tried to mimic the Sheriff's dept. Funny how one company was denied a license because their cars looked too much like the Sheriff's Dept, yet when Rob started Everest, their Badges and uniforms looked just like Sandoval County. Rob was no big loss when he quit the S.O. ask him how he lied when his patrol unit was stolen. Left it running and the door open and told investigators the key was under the seat!

Yes, I remember that, I also remember that Rob is not liked by the S.O. for trying to bring a lawsuit against the B.C.S.O.A. and other money hungry tactics that are not beneath that of an ambulance chaser.
