The Cathedral Church of St. John in Albuquerque decided earlier this summer to back out of hosting a Sabeel conference. Other groups, including the New Mexico Council of Churches, have also kept their distance.

Never far from controversy, Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA) has been forced to relocate its upcoming conference from an Episcopal Cathedral in Albuquerque, New Mexico ... FOSNA is the American branch of Sabeel, an ecumenical Palestinian liberation theology organization headed by Anglican priest Naim Ateek ...

from virtueonline:

"A conference schedule provided by FOSNA lists workshops on Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS),'Christian Zionism in the Evangelical/Fundamentalist and Mainline Protestant and Roman Catholic Churches' and 'Paradise Lost: the Transgenerational Legacies of Life Under Occupation: Native American and Palestinian Cultural Survival.'

"While Bishop Michael Vono of the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande and cathedral Dean J. Mark Goodman no longer appear on the conference schedule, the group still lists St. Bede's Episcopal Church, Santa Fe, St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, and the Northeast Deanery of the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande as co-sponsors."

Obviously TEC conferences will not talk about those who are lost in sin and need the liberation of the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ.
TEC has lost the gospel -- therefore, the decline in membership.

Oh, Baloney!

You are full of a burgeoning, stinking, umber-colored gas cloud, derived from ingesting bad ideas and then letting them stew in your scripturally misconstruing bowels!

Please, explode in some other direction.

Undoubtedly Sabeel and I are too conservative to be included in TEC's and RevKen's brand of inclusiveness.

Conservative?

No.

Ignorant and arrogant?

YES!

There's nothing sadder than ignorant people pretending to be educated...
