Thankfully, the girls did not get hurt, and I hope, their mother has more sense than their father, obviously has.

It's always the innocent ones that get hurt. Or at least in this case unwantingly involved. Drinking and Driving with children in the vehicle.

if that is actually what happened it's truly a travesty. But officers WILL lie or exagerate to make a case.I've seen it many times. We've become a society of guilty until proven innocent.

This man and woman should be in jail for a long long time. This is child abuse, but they will probably just get a slap on the hand and no doubt they will do it again.

Jim Bob obviously has an axe to grind; must have been pulled over while driving drunk with kids in the car. Happens all the time ...

This officer is a State Police Officer, which means he has a video camera in his vehicle that automatically turns on whenever he stops anybody. Everything he described is on the video. If you are so worried about people being guilty until proven innocent, maybe you shouldn't be accusing officers of lying when you clearly don't know what you are talking about.

So Jim Bob, you have "been there and done that?" Sounds like sour grapes to me, it always stings to get caught--easier to blame the police officer.

With a name like "Jim Bob" he probably got busted for having a still in the back of his car--and for being the son of cousins.
