You have to blame the Republican Governor. You can't go blaming past administrations. Heather Wilson is not the answer either.

You gotta blame the Democrat controlled New Mexico legislature. They fight Susana Martinez's pro-growth business agenda every step of the way.

Democrats have controlled the New Mexico legislature for half a century. Time for a change.

Give Governor Martinez a legislature she can work with.

Really? Barack Obama has made a career out of blaming past administrations.

too bad it's against principal for the leader of the country or a state to just bypass the pesky lawmaking body and just write their own laws as they see fit. Then the gov. could just disband the state house and rule autonomously. But wait ! thats what premier obama does, just bypasses senate/congress when they won't pass what he wants, he just writes a dictators order and writes his own, so why can't state govs just mimic the greatest pres evuh ?

The legislature is more to blame than anyone, if it matters. They want a fee (P2P) from businesses for the sake of doing business in NM. Their antics are a major part of why our economy is in the tank and has been for years - P2P!

Hence NM being more like a 3rd world country than one of the 50 states!

Unlike you who hides behind a cloud of mota smoke, I choose to remain and do my best to make things better for myself, my family, my grandchildren and other members of society. Even you!

Hiding and escaping is like burying your head in the sand, it accomplishes nothing but showing society what an ass you are.

It seems to me and others here you more whine and complain that NM isn't a right-wing haven than anything. Move to Idaho -- You would fit right in there.

I'm very confused. Just 1 year ago, talking heads on all 3 networks were bragging about how New Mexico, and specifically Albuquerque, was doing so well compared to the rest of the country, unemployment wise, and home price/repossession-wise, and now we're told we're in worst shape than the rest of the nation???!!! What's that about???
Tired of lying to us???!!!
