Didn't KOB/APD initially say this may have been gang related? Maybe Skaggs and his accomplice were gang members?

This explains why Pierce has no criminal record. Jason Skaggs on the other hand has a scary criminal background including extreme cruelty to an animal & sexual penetration of a child under 11. Nothing to indicate he has any gang affiliation, though. Skaggs is a big guy 6' 3". He lives on the Laguna Pueblo.

Tragic the Pierce's just purchased their home after recently marrying

The Supreme Court ruled that individuals have the right to own guns. The 2nd amendment clearly states "a well-regulated militia". Apparently Mr. Skaggs was a member of a militia. The Supreme Court doesn't care how many innocent people are killed by handguns.

What does the Supreme Court ruling have to do with this? The SCOTUS decision only affects people who wish to legally own handguns.

People who illegally own handguns (I'm assuming Mr. Skaggs is in this group - although there was no mention that it was a handgun) could care less about the decision because they would have their gun either way.

Besides, if he was really determined to go kill someone, he could have used one of many possible weapons for the job. Guns aren't the only thing that kill people.

That being said, my deepest condolences to the family and the recently widowed bride. I can't possibly imagine what she must be going through.

How horrible.I feel so sorry for the newlyweds.I hope this thug gets the death penalty.I am all for rights to bear arms. I sleep with my gun under near by.Any strange noises in the night and I have it in hand.Break into my property you will be capped. And no I have no criminal back ground but will protect myself. husband, family.Citizens need to claim back their right to feel safe in thier own homes.

I love the way they say "wrong man" as if there were a right man to kill.

Same way they reported it when I got shot.

Hand guns don't kill people, people kill people. If you write with a pen does the pen misspell words?

Now you know why they left out so much information....Sometimes it is good to hold information....Then you get the correct people who did the crime....If you don't beleive drugs are part of it think again....

"Bloomfield intended to scare the man who used to live at house. Bloomfield was allegedly having an affair with that man's wife."

Why would bloomfield scare the mans wife if he is the one having the affair?

Well said 2 cents!!! I agree 100%. If people want to outlaw guns to help the murder rate then they should outlaw cars for the DWI rate!!!

He was going to scare the man, not his wife. You need to check your reading comprehension.

Sounds like one gun too few at the scene of the crime. As a home owner - better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
