And Sony for making what was the cheapest Blu-ray player for more than a year (it ended up that people were buying the PS3 for the blu-ray/DVD upscaling capabilities, and basically getting the gaming capabilities for free).

I think this discription is more appropriate for you. You have yet to condemn the actions of Nidal, and muslim extremists in any kind of fashion. I do not tolerate hatred of any kind, and I show no sympathy towards christian nor muslim extremists...most wars, conflicts, and massacres have been the result of extreme religious views..one culture forcing their particular faith onto others...and the christians are light years ahead of the muslims in that category..exterminating entire races to further their agenda, and steal the poor peoples wealth...or perhaps you never learned about the mayans and aztecs...or the crusades...or bosnia...or Germany...and on and on.....

Introduction Many atheists claim that religion is evil and, as such, cannot be from God. It is true that there are many examples of evil committed in the name of Christianity. In addition, the Crusades resulted in "holy" wars between "Christians," Jews, and Moslems. In more modern times, wars have been fought between Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland and between Jews and Arabs in the Middle East. However, common to all this violence was an underlying struggle for power. Today, some people kill abortionists in the name of God. Are these people unwilling pawns of religion or using religion to justify their own evil agendas?

History of human atrocitiesTherefore, I absolutely agree with atheists and others who say that many atrocious things have been done in the name of God, and even in the name of Christianity. However, these atrocities were not perpetrated by God, but by evil human beings. If we look at the history of democide (which includes genocide, politicide, and mass murder, but not war-dead) prior to the 20th century, we find that millions of people were killed by people groups who wanted the other people groups eliminated. Note that these numbers do not include those killed through wars.

As I pointed out in post #169 of the Fort Hood Terrorist thread, I have condemed Hasan and his actions multiple times, thus making you either a cowardly liar, or a lazy and incompetent debater. In any case, your bigoted and mean spirited tirades against the rest of us deserve no respect or credibility. Ditto for your qualifications as a Christian and human being. Pathetic, hypocritical puke.

And once again, I am sorry. I also apologize and say sorry to Daniel in Hobbs. Sometimes the emotion of the issue can get to the each of us. God bless you both for your service in the armed forces.
