What an A$$ you are Viejo!! You come on this thread, talk shit, then go to the christian thread and act all Jesus like. I got a feeling the weatherman pegged you right as an old flamed-out queen. You better be happy old vets like us gave part of our lives, and some of our blood, so you can prance around Santa Fe in your gay pride costumes. Hope you're not using taxpayer monies to buy them diapers you need for your prolapsed rectum.

You sound like a closted gay bible thumper to me. Gotta bash the open gays so nobody will suspect that you secretly take it up your dirt chute. When you get on your knees at church, I'll bet you secretly wish you were opening your mouth to take in your KKK boyfriend.

Know what, dumbbass, we were talking about bigotry against Muslims and how scum like you seek to trample the Constitution of the United States. There are other threads here for you to bash gays on.

The racists from Texas have joined the forum tonight. Probably the same kind of good KKKhristians who murdered James Byrd Jr. by dragging him behind a pickup truck.

Just as you don't want Christians to 'judge' this soldier and apply his 'deed' to all muslims...you can't attribute what one Christian does to all Christians. You can't have it both ways.

To show you how the liberal press trys to control the news, over here in Austin, the local rag, the Statesman, has this to say after every story concerning the Fort Hood shooting:

"Editor's Note: We have disabled commenting on this story because of repeated abuse of our commenting policy related to the Ft. Hood shooting."

And they wonder why nobody buys their papers and they're on the verge of bankruptcy.

Forget race, religion and nationality for a minute here and explain how one person, just one of any race or religion who is born in the USA and goes off and does something so terrible as this guy did end up representing the entire world of his or her race, religion and supposedly nationality?

So if one person born say in Utah whose religion is Mormon did this wold all Mormon's be bad?

Or Jewish, Or Baptist, Protestant or any religion, race and nationality mean all of that group are bad?

I am not defending this person or what he did, he deserves the death penalty and fast too, not 20 years from now enjoying the benefits of prison life off the families of those he killed.

But there is no need for us here to start knocking each other, we all have our own opinions and whether we agree or disagree let's keep the personal side out of these post.

The second most deadly act of terrorism on United States soil was committed by an Anglo, former Catholic, Army veteran who had been awarded the Bronze Star and honorably discharged. I don't recall that anyone used the horrific crimes that Timothy McVeigh committed, in his demented attempt to defend the US Constitution, to indict the White Race.

News reports are saying that there is no evidence that Hasan was connected to any organized terror group. It would appear that he was just a crazed nut job like McVeigh, and I have no doubt that Hasan also will get what he deserves thru our system of justice.

Yet the blogs are full of anti-Muslim rhetoric. As Americans, we must not tolerate this kind of ugly hateful bigotry.

The man is a murderer plain and simple, and hence should be treated as such. It's still an act of terrorism and he's still a terrorist, but being a murderer is the issue, not his religion.

And what did they label McVeigh? Domestic Terrorist, did they not. But yet with the latest tragedy they are already calling it something else. Lord forbid we piss off the muslims by calling this domestic terrorism. Again, if this would have been a white Christian he would have the domestic terrorist label.

The murderer McVeigh was a domestic terrorist, and if that is what they call the murderer Hasan it's fine with me. But did you condem all Anglos based on what McVeigh did, and suggest that all Anglos should be kicked out of the military?

Your hatefilled tirade against all Muslims based on the actions of one nut job (go back and read your post #33 above) is unjustified, disgusting and the epitome of bigotry. Shame on you, hypocrite!

McVeigh was obviously a terrorist since he committed his crime for ideological reasons, which he enunciated at great length. However, this Hasan guy seems more like a disgruntled employee who was not happy to be going to Afghanistan and who had recently received a bad job performance review. If it turns out that Hasan's crime was primarily motivated by ideology, then he would be a terrorist, but at this time he fits more into the disgruntled employee mold. Of course, he could be a little of each. We'll just have to see!

I'll say it just like I feel. I do not like muslims at all. If that makes me a bigot then so be it. Nothing will change my mind.

Let us engage in a thought experiment:

A young man goes on a rampage and shoots over 100 rounds into a crowded reception center on a military base, killing over a dozen and wounding many more. Afterwards it is learned that the shooter was a soldier himself, a fairly high ranking officer in fact. It is also discovered that he has long held Nazi sympathies, and has posted on Neo-Nazi websites. Journalists uncover evidence that he had been distributing Nazi leaflets and copies of "Mein Kampf" the very morning of the of the attack. When the press finally gets around to interviewing survivors of the incident, they confrim that the shooter shouted "Heil Hitler" as he opened fire.
Would there be any question about whether or not his actions were ideologically driven?
Would the reporting weave a narrative of his supposed victimization, or would it raise alarms at the presence of avowed Neo-Nazis in our miltary ranks?

Would we be warned not to jump to conclusions by our political leaders, or would we be told to fear the threat of an oncoming wave of similar attackers spawned by right-wing radio?
Would his neighbors and superiors have been more likely to report his rantings to the authorities?
More than the attack of one lone jihadi, it is the answers to the above that truly scare me...

I pray for you. I hope you do understand that Islam is a 'peaceful' faith, and stands on the principles of self-control and discipline.

I personally am a Christian. My only beef with Islam is they do not acknowledge JESUS CHRIST as their Lord and Savior, but as far as each muslim goes, I don't believe they are a 'violent' threat. Those that are killing are off the cuff of Islam and unfortunately are getting most of the attention as far is Islam is concerned. Please know you do not have to fear muslim individuals.

Maybe I have a shallow mind when it comes to muslims. I spent 11 months in Iraq and I was scared to death most of the time because I (we)did not know who was who. All I saw was total destruction by the muslim faith even on their own people. So forgive me if I do not trust nor like muslims. I am beyond changing my perception.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Leo

It's hard to pin down a certain person today because they're being so vague and dithery. Ask them a question and they'll vacillate or be unable to give you a straight answer. You might suspect them of deceitful goings on but it's far more likely that they're simply in a world of their own and can't keep their mind on anything for long. Don't worry, they'll soon be back on planet earth.
