Gratitude and honor to you Daniel. We appreciate your 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. I will be taking my Viet Nam combat veteran brothers to the steakhouse of their choice today, and it will be a much better place than Applebees. Maybe the Steaksmith?

Hey Whisky, salutes and gratitude to you for your military service. I hope you don't have to go to work today but, if you do, make all the young folk do all the work and make sure they treat you with the honor and respect that you have earned.

I hope your little old lady finds some way to appropriately salute your flagpole today as well. Ditto this for you too Daniel.

LMOAO....The flagpole is doing just fine, I do got a good woman beside me.(snicker, snicker) No work for me today, I don't go back in until tomorrow morning then I have 4 whole days off.

I don't know what I will do with all that free time, after I mow, paint, winterize, tear more carpet out in preperation for laying a new hardwood floor, just the little stuff around the house, but I will think of something<G>.

And thank you for your appreciation. A lot of vets from my time did not recieve much thanks, more like boos and hisses, when we returned to the real world and most do not realize how much it hurt. That is why I am first in line when the kids come home to our little town for a visit to give them a big hug, salute or handshake, and thank them for what they are doing now against the terrorists that are todays threat to our way of life.
