Police identify 84-year-old man held in fatal shooting

Police have identified an 84-year-old man who shot and killed another man at a northeast Albuquerque apartment complex.

I have a feeling that nothing will happen to this guy. Just a crazy old man. At least that's what a judge will see.

what kind of security did this place have? None what so ever how can a mental patient be alloweded to have a gun. The people who run this facility need to be held accountable also. My heartful sympothy for all the victims.

It says the old man shot his intended victim and then turned towards 3 young girls. The wounded man distracted the old man so that the old man shot him again. The victim saved the lives of those 3 young girls by distracting the old man. That's a hero in my books.

Things such as this are an example of why there should still be mental health institutions.

Strangely enough he bought it with his economic stimulus check.
