Nice. Now I know why my property taxes went up 60% this year. They needed the money!

you have got to be kidding. The GIS system for the county could use some major updating but the County would rather spend that money on a brige a grown man couldn't cross? Give me a BREAK.

I guess it's like the infamous precision fastening device installation tool that the government has been known to pay upwards of $300 each. Or then the one George Carlin liked to use noting the cost for a device to keep the buttocks off of the stainless steel or porcelain costing about $800.
Which are they?
1. Hammer.
2. Toilette Seat.
Reminds me also of some Government Offices with their nice furniture, paintings and covered parking.
Wasteful, is the simple way of describing it.

Honestly someone should be held accountable for this. KOB-dig it up and get them out.

Once again y'all are too stoooopid to see how advanced your little hamlet really is.

I do ride this one regularly. You can ride it too if you stop complaining and get off your lazy fat butts.

Where is Larry Barker when you need him?

Who got paid $187,000.00 for a few planks of wood and a few hours of work?

$187,000.00 for a wannabe Lance Armstrong and his Albuquerque Acres friends, who don't know how to cross a foot bridge a few feet across a ditch, unless it has rails...chickens!

At $9000 per foot, its a deal. Cheaper than Marty's streecar, cheaper than Bill's Train of Doom, services just as many.

Maybe they can pay for it by putting up a toll booth or a red light camera?

And guess what? The doctor's still dead. While I (seriously) hope no one else dies on or off that bridge, as a taxpayer I REALLY hope so.

You'll probably have someone jumping off of the bridge now and drowning.

This bridge to nowhere is part of a larger project called "Ditches with Trails".
State Senator Dede Feldman has secured well over one million tax dollars for these folks to play with. Unless the MRGCD stops this fiasco at their meeting on 7/28,you ain't seen nothing yet...
