I had the opportunity to have my bike worked on by Chris and given my experience will never deal with another shop. If i had the cash i'd have him build a custom bike for me. I wanted to take the time to write for anyone out there considering a custom build or just looking for a reputable shop to maintain their bike. He is an honest business man, has competitive pricing and is a hell of a good guy on top of it.

Okay, so there is positive & negative in every story... Lujan Cycles included. This guy used to build bikes out of his home & now he has a store front. I've been to his shop & saw the 2 custom bikes he's built, not bad. But he just doesn't seem to be fully educated on all aspects of motorcycles. And he has a couple guys working there that are in the same boat. He needs to hire a "real" builder to work with him. I also heard a customers bike got dumped off a trailer (inexperience)!! With that being said I assume the people who have left their bike at his shop for him to sell have a lot of trust in him. Personally, I wouldn't. I passed by this shop one day when it was closed. All those bike are all packed in that tiny shop like sardines! Oh hell no I wouldn't leave any of my bikes there! But on a lighter note; I really can't hate on him for doing his thing. I've tore down, wrenched & rebuilt my bikes for most my life... Its a passion! And if I had the capital I'd do the same thing. He also has a great location for a store front. But he still has a ways to go before he can get the full respect of a "custom bike shop" in this town.

Just keep wrenching away dude... Cheers.

chris is really cool and honest. there may be things he doesn't know, but he takes responsibility for his mistakes and you don't end up paying for them. he does hire some shady dudes though, but most shops have this problem. just make sure he'll be doing the work on your bike personally and you're in good hands.

Took my bike over to get it fixed and it broke down the next day I got it and chris wouldnt honor his warranty to fix it, so I took it to another shop and they said lujans put the wrong year of parts in my bike I'm gonna take him to court and get my $1,000 back plus attorney fees and court fees and make him reimburse me for paying the other shops fees

Yes he is a Joke, he will find himself in court many times because he does not know how to fix motorcycles. And he does hire some really questionable people at his shop, hope he goes out of business.

I've known Chris for a short time and he has earned my respect, I am a pretty good judge of character and he seems straight up and he has gone out of the way to help me, and besides thunderbird and Santa Fe harley has had mechanics that aren't perfect, that being said , right now I'm fine with him!
