I hope I can find a nice car that has vodka puke all over the steering wheel.

Buying something off someone else's misery....can't say that would bring a person a "deal."

I am not familiar with the rules. How many DUI's does a person have to get before they take your car?

I know a lot of people who say they cannot afford to drive anymore. I wonder with gas up so high how many of these cars will be sold. It is too bad that the modern world is so expensive. DUI fines, jail, bondsman, insurance hike, attorney price, and losing a car to the City would really set a person back. If you are having financial problems and must drink, do not drive.

someone else's misery? They deserve to have their cars taken away! What about the misery that all the family's have to suffer through when their loved one is killed by a drunk driver?
Drunk drivers don't deserve to have cars. They have a choice to be responsible before they take that first drink. They don't have anyone else to blame their "misery" on but themselves.
There are plenty of sober people out there that would love the responsibility to drive that car like a mature adult; so if they want to buy it that's fantastic! That makes one less drunk on the road risking mine and your life with their so called "misery"

screw them. Idiots who get a DWI deserve this.

If they cant afford another car, well, lesson learned?

Can't afford gas. Can't afford insurance. Can't afford registration. cant afford to pay taxes and pay for the roads. Can't afford ...... can afford to get drunk.

Cry me a river.

Yeah, Lopes. Why would anyone want to buy a car that was taken away from someone else? Sounds creepy to me.

Get a life, little MADD one. Do something proactive with your life. Go buy one of those cars and give it to a grieving family instead of spilling your haterade on this forum....

or better yet, go for a walk, but then you might get hit by someone on legal prescription drugs,

or get run over by a teen with a learners permit,

or you might get hit by someone who can't see at night,

or maybe you might get hit by someone texting on their cell phone trying to report a drunk on the road,

but my all time favorite is that you might just get hit by a plane by two pilots who are arguing in the cock pit......

Misery loves company.....

So tell me something - who do you fear the most? The self-righteous man who has no sin and makes the law or the the man who has nothing to lose?

I've ben to these auctions. The good cars aren't there - they've already been sold "inside" by city employees to their cronies and friends. the cars at the Bentley's DWI auctions are the absolute crap that's left over. Don't waste your time....

Friends-of-Marty and Albuquerque cops have already appropriated the decent ones. The left overs are JUNK that no one wants, but may buy because they are cheap (but will cost more in the long run)

So now with the "Performance Standards" coming to light, do you feel the same way about the DWI in Albuquerque? Makes me wonder what APD's trying to prove, and why they made a serious offense a quota.

Guess I should change my name to "Just another number"

Maybe so. One way to get perfect, 0% unemployment is: Half the population locked up and the other half watchin' them.
