Ah, Mitt. I don't blame you. Your magical underwear is probably cutting off your circulation, and there's very little room in your mouth with that silver spoon and ever-present foot in there.

I think you just lost the vote of most, if not all disabled veterans, elderly on social security, disabled Americans receiving social security, widows, especially military widows, widows receiving social security, and probably every person who REALLY pulled themselves up alone by their bootstraps.

With Mommy and Daddy paying for your private schools, college, post-graduate degree, buying you your first home and first new cars, and loaning you a lot of bucks to start your own business, how do you figure you "built it alone"? It wasn't bad enough the country found out you banked in Cayman Islands and Switzerland, you had to open your big, crowded mouth! lol

If Mitt doesn't pay federal income taxes, then doesn't that mean he'll be voting for President Obama?

People forget that it was the GOPs idea to have the Earned Income Credit and some of those other things that result in people not paying any Federal Income Tax. It was something they came up with to avoid raising the minimum wage.

Now, if they'd just gone ahead and done the moral thing, the sensible thing, the thing that would have helped the economy by putting money in the pockets of the people who'd spend it right way.... then we'd have far more people paying federal income taxes..... to go along with their state taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, cell phone taxes, excise taxes.......

The idea that nearly half of the people in this country don't pay taxes is ridiculous. Practically everyone pays at least one tax, and the vast majority pay several.

But in this low-information-voter age, a lot of people never consider that.

I guess this means that you would rather have these expenses paid for for by the Muslim interests that put the current POTUS in office.

Come on guys at least Romney is an actual American citizen..... Nobody really knows for sure about Barry.

Right, except for the extensive documentation proving he was born in Hawaii, making him a natural-born citizen.

Sorry, I forgot that conspiracy theorists don't actually care about evidence.

That's President Obama to you. Show some respect for our Commander in Chief. He won by nearly 10,000,000 votes and he's going to win again, with or without your respect or support.

Next time you confederate losers decide to make a run for it, we might just let you secede.

Although my Mother and Father both worked most of their lives, after my Dad died and my Mother was in her 70's she only earned $600 in Social Security a month, so, no, she did not pay income tax then. According to Mitt Romney these are the people he would not care about.

When checked on Factcheck, the actual figures that paid no taxes (no payroll or federal) were I believe 18 percent. Remember this includes those on Social Security and the working poor that although working diligently do not earn enough to pay taxes.

I am very disturbed that almost half of the population that Mitt Romney will be representing if elected to President, are people that he does not care about. I do see that he seems to care dearly for those at the very top of the totem pole in regards to wealth.

You really should try comprehending what he was alluding to instead of jumping on the band wagon with the other fools.

Well, now audio is being used where Obama states he supports the idea of redistribution of wealth..that is, forcibly taking money away from those who earned it, and giving it to those who did not.

Thanks to Obama and his "gotcha" brand of politics, look forward to the battle of the sound bites from here on out, as the issues get swept away in nonsense as politicos everywhere study every utterance ever made by both candidates, looking for the next "gotcha!":

Maybe you should try comprehending what Mutt said. He said it Loud & Clear!
" There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what… These are people who pay no income tax.…[M]y job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.

The GOP nominee is referring a percentage oft quoted by conservatives who refer to those Americans who pay no federal taxes as “lucky duckies.” He doesn’t point that most of those people pay payroll taxes. The rest are unemployed, disabled or retired".

The idea that a man who refuses to show voters how much he has paid in taxes on the millions he’s earned calling his fellow citizens “freeloaders??!

Well, maybe you should be the one comprehending instead of jumping on the band wagon with the other fools.

I am very well aware of what he was alluding to. The fact is, as he stated it, it was not true.

He has shown too many times that his main concern is going to be for the wealthy. Sorry, CornDogz I think that leaves both of us out.

I agree with your statement, but CD thinks that he is a multimillionaire and that the rest of us are of the "entitlement" mentality.

CD is a blind fool concerning the right-wing BS and propaganda; consequently, he makes groundless statements and opposes factual information. Generally, he's just an AH on both ends spouting BS, just like Romney/Ryan.

So how are we supposed to take this statement, then?

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.
